How to apply false lashes

‘Fraid to say you’re a strip lash virgin? Don’t worry, everyone has to start somewhere – and for your first time, DOL are the best. Not only are they super stunning, they’re super easy to apply too. Just three steps are required.

 

Step 1: Prepare

Before applying false eyelashes, it pays to do a little prep work.

This is by no means essential. But to get the best results, we recommend that you start by curling your natural lashes and applying a thin layer of your favourite mascara.

 

Step 2: Add adhesive

Next, apply a thin line of our revolutionary Dream Liner Adhesive Eyeliner, just above your lash line. This comes in two colours – black and clear – allowing you to create a range of different looks. And it doubles up as extra-tacky glue that will hold the strip eyelashes securely in place.

DOL Tip: If you think your falsies look a little too… false, try the spoolie trick. Before applying them, simply take a clean spoolie and gently rub it back and forth over the lashes. This fluffs up the individual lashes and makes them look more natural.

 

Step 3: Apply the lash strip

You can trim the ends of the lashes if necessary.

Position the strip along your lash line using the DOL lash applicator. These feature a curved tip and comfortable handles, helping you to apply false lashes with ease and accuracy – even as an absolute beginner! Our precision tweezers are also a great way to ensure the lash strip is in the perfect position.

Finally, squeeze the lash band and your real lashes together – starting in the middle and moving out to each end until they’re nice and secure.
